The view is beautiful, with a valley on one side and a mountain range on the other. In the morning, a farmer brought his cows by. There are plenty of parking spaces and a few hikers around. It's very peaceful and lovely.

There is a day parking lot below Rattendorfer Alm, a great starting point for hikes with stunning mountain views. Historical remains from World War I can be seen. The drive is 30 minutes up a steep, rough road, suitable for cars and off-road vehicles. Nearby, Rattendorferhütte serves local food and has a restroom.
