"Goldene Meile" is a modern and picturesque camping site situated along the Rhine River, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. It serves as an ideal starting point for hiking and biking adventures. Additionally, there is a nearby swimming pool that is clean and the staff is friendly. It comes highly recommended for a pleasant stay.
Clean and proper place located near the remains of the Remagen Bridge, but slightly far from the city. We were surprised by the prices of the amenities, I found them expensive, and you have to pay 50 cents to use the showers... I didn't understand that.
The place is satisfactory. Unfortunately, there was an event in the swimming pool until 2 am with extremely loud music. We arrived on the same day but were not informed about the event. We were assigned one of the inferior spots for one night. It would have been quieter and nicer further back on the site, as there were also many vacant spots available. What a shame.
