There's no need to pre-book or check-in; simply decide on your day of departure and stay for as long as you like. Just make sure to check out before 12.00 on your chosen day and settle your payment at the reception for the duration of your stay. Convenient and hassle-free!
A beautiful and well-organized campground by the lake with a small bathing beach. There are 3 service buildings with showers, toilets, and kitchens. No waiting times and everything was clean. There are also nice hiking trails. The only issue was the many dogs whose owners did not clean up after them on the playground and swimming area.
There is a variety of options available, but not all are affordable. We parked our van on a relatively cheap site, away from the beach, and it cost us 325 SEK. We can only imagine the prices elsewhere! The facilities were lacking too - lukewarm showers, no fridge, no common area, and only 2 tables in the kitchen. Considering the cost and the importance of the campground, it may be better to camp in nature and find a proper campground tomorrow.
