This place is great for camping with the t4 without all-wheel drive. We had no issues staying there overnight. It's also a perfect starting point for hiking excursions.

The Mittagskogel car park is located in a peaceful natural setting. The road leading to it is not paved and has steep sections with tight curves. It is suitable for small vehicles and 4x4 vans, but not recommended for heavy or oversized motorhomes. It is possible to access the car park with a non-4x4 traction van, but it requires maintaining speed and good handling. If you are uncomfortable driving on unpaved roads or uphill, it is advisable to avoid this route. The car park is the starting point for a 12km round trip hike to Mittagskogel, which takes approximately 4 hours.
