The South Tynedale Railway, located at Alston off A686, is a historical train route that spans from Alston to Slaggyford. While there are no specific parking restrictions, it is suggested that visitors make a £5 donation to support the railway. The parking barrier may close outside of business hours, but alternative parking is available next to the railway station and cafe if needed.
