Visit the Asturian cider press, known as the Castañón cider mill, for a guided tour on the production of natural cider. They also have a store where you can purchase Asturian products. It is important to note their opening hours: Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please plan your visit accordingly as access outside of these hours may not be possible.
We went to a place to unload the van and refill it with free water. While there, we also decided to purchase some local products from Asturias. We bought Sidra and magnets from the shop, where Raquel was very kind to us. She even gave us some recommendations on places to visit and eat in Gijon. It was a perfect experience.
This location provides excellent facilities for disposing of black and gray water, as well as refilling water supplies. We also had the opportunity to visit the local cider mills, which were enjoyable and had friendly staff.
