This location might not be the most visually appealing, but it is advantageous as it offers peace and quiet away from the road. Unlike other parking lots along Route 9, this one is located on an old, unused road. Here, you can freely choose where to park. Additionally, the area is surrounded by woods abundant with raspberries and blueberries. Some parts of the location have a gentle slope.
Convenient location easily accessible after taking the late ferry (35 minutes from Kristiansand). However, the area is unfortunately somewhat littered by the locals. It seems to be a parking lot for nighttime cross-country skiing during the winter months.
