We stumbled upon Ferma Dacilor by chance, a place that doesn't typically offer camping services but kindly allowed us to stay. The host was incredibly friendly, providing us with electricity and a camping spot for free. In return, we enjoyed delicious traditional meals at their restaurant. The camping area can accommodate around 5-6 vehicles. Although there isn't running water, the nearby village has fountains where we could refill our containers. On weekends, the host organizes fun activities like bonfires with local music. They regularly share updates about these events on their Facebook page. In the surrounding area, there are several wineries, such as LaCerta, Tohani, Vinalia, and Ceptura, which are easily accessible by bike or car. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with a welcoming host. I highly recommend it!
We were not entirely pleased with our experience. The food at the restaurant was expensive and not particularly tasty. Additionally, there were no restroom facilities available. The animals on the farm were being kept in unpleasant conditions, especially the rabbits and geese. There is room for improvement.
A charming place in the middle of nature. It is a beautiful restaurant with traditional cuisine, surrounded by nature. They offer activities for children like painting and horseback riding. We enjoyed sarmale and meat for dinner. They also allow free overnight stays.
