I am a resident of the town, and it is a very peaceful place where parking is easy. People engage in various sports activities during the day, including myself. The public lights in the park and the stairs to the town remain lit until 23:00, depending on the season.
There is a small downside to this place, as there is a nearby railway bridge which means that trains pass by until late at night and early in the morning. However, besides that, it is a very peaceful location.
