The main car park was closed until about 9am, so we were the only ones there. It was popular with mountain bikers in the morning, which is expected on a Sunday. I would recommend visiting this place.
The car park at the trail and nature reserve has limited spaces and is located in a natural and tree-filled area. Unfortunately, half of the car park is closed, but there are around 5 or 6 spaces available for vans of a sprinter size. The car park is frequently visited by dog walkers and mountain bikers. There are no visible signs prohibiting overnight stays, so it may be permissible. In addition, the phone reception at the location is relatively good with 2 bars of 4G coverage. Enjoy your camping experience!

Visitors enjoyed a tranquil evening at around 9pm until approximately 10:30pm. Dog walkers started appearing around 7:30am. The location offers beautiful views, although the signal strength is not excellent. Litter can be an issue due to the absence of bins. Despite these drawbacks, visitors expressed their willingness to stay in this lovely spot again if they return to climb at Tirpentwys.
