This secluded location at the end of a basin is a wonderful place to stay. It is owned by a friendly couple from Austria named Martin and Birgit. You can enjoy the company of various animals such as pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, dogs, and cats. There are two caravans available for rent, both equipped with showers and toilets. If you prefer to bring your own camper van or tent, there are parking spaces available too. The area is pleasantly sunny and extremely quiet, with no light pollution at night, allowing for a great view of the starry sky. To reach the location, you will take a gravel road for about 2.5 km, which is well-marked with regular signs displaying the initials "M B." However, please note that access for large mobile homes is not suitable. The center of Orosei is easily accessible by bike in about 15 minutes without encountering significant slopes. If you prefer to go to the beach, it can be reached by car in approximately 10-15 minutes.
This place was the highlight of our three-week road trip across the island in terms of accommodation. If you want to escape the crowded and impersonal campsites and enjoy peace and nature, this is the perfect place. It serves as a wonderful base for many beautiful excursions, and we also didn't face any disturbance from neighboring dogs during our stay.
