Galathesehaven is a camper place situated near the Volkerak inland waterway. Here, you can enjoy a stunning view of the busy shipping route while having a snack or drink at the nearby restaurant, Paviljoen Sluishaven. The village is only 5 kilometers away, providing access to various recreational activities. For fishing enthusiasts, there is a trailer ramp and an ideal fishing area. The cost is 15 euros, plus a tourist tax of 1.50 euros per person.
Currently, the restaurant is closed. However, there is a wonderful spot with a beautiful view available for €17, which includes everything. Please note that there may be a slightly different electrical outlet, but with various adapters on hand, it can be handled easily.
Beautiful small and quiet spot by the harbor. The sanitary facilities are not usable, but otherwise, it is recommended. We stayed there for one night, but unfortunately, there was no waste disposal available.
