This is a great spot to stay. We stayed near the river for fishing and there is a nearby quarry for swimming. There are facilities like a volleyball court, toilets, campfire places, and tables. We were thrilled to discover this place, especially because it is clean and free. Thank you to the team who maintains these facilities.
It is important to make sure to stay on the right side of the river, as seen from the reservoir. The dam serves as a crossing point, as there are no bridges nearby. At the gravel pit, there are several options for standing, some better than others. There are also several dry toilets available.
There are several parking spaces around the lake. They are clean, some are level and covered with gravel. The trash cans, barbecue areas, and toilets are also clean. It's a great place for fishing and swimming. However, late at night, some anglers drive along the small road at a fast pace.
