This place features a historic tower that was once used for monitoring the vast surrounding forest in the early 20th century. The tower is open on weekends, but it can get crowded during that time. The parking area is relatively flat, however, there are no amenities available except for a portable toilet, which is only open when the tower is open. The road leading to the tower has some bumps, so it's not advisable for trailers or large motorhomes.
