The campsite is open from late May to late July. During other times, you can stay for free. It is a pleasant and peaceful location with swimming options available and a friendly atmosphere.
For those who prefer a simple and tidy experience, this location is ideal. At Lake Siljan, there are spots available between camper vans, offering a view of the lake. It’s better to explore a few kilometers away from crowded areas for a more peaceful stay.
This is a nice, versatile camping area. After being bitten by insects on the grass, we moved to the main camping spot higher up. The restroom and shower are a bit farther away, but it was worth it. There are only two pit toilets, which we avoided in the heat. Overall, it's a recommended place!
