The owner of the campground is friendly and helpful. You can get information about the area and Saarburg at the reception or the tourist information office. Campers are now allowed to stay on the campground after discussing it with the staff. The free wifi sometimes has interruptions, but you can log in again. There are supermarkets, a bakery, and a DM drugstore within walking distance. Saarburg offers many bike routes along the Saar and Moselle rivers, leading to the beautiful city of Trier or Mettlach where you can visit the Villeroy and Boch outlet.
