We operate the Fährhaus Niederwartha and offer camping pitches for campers up to 7 meters long. Our pitches are conveniently located along the Elbe Cycle Path, with a distance of 13 km to both Dresden and Meissen. Radebeul is also easily accessible via the nearby bridge. Public transportation is just a few minutes away on foot. Our campsite is an excellent starting point for visiting Dresden, taking bike tours along the Elbe Cycle Path, or hiking through the vineyards. If you're in the mood for swimming, the Cossebaude reservoir resort is only a 15-minute walk away. At our beer garden (available from the end of July), you can enjoy drinks and food. Toilet and shower facilities are available, however, there is no disposal service. If you plan to visit, please pre-register by calling, sending a WhatsApp message, or reaching out to us through a messaging platform. This way, we can reserve a seat for you. Alternatively, you are welcome to come by spontaneously and contact us at the ferry house or the following day if you will be arriving very late.
I spent one night camping in my van on a beautiful field. The owners were very friendly and made me feel welcome. They even allowed my dog to stay with me. I enjoyed a delicious vegetarian dinner and the shower and toilet facilities were clean. The noise from passing cyclists and trains didn't bother me. Wishing you all the best!
We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious homemade dinner in the cozy beer garden.
