Butterfly Caravan Park is currently closed and will reopen on 6th October, 2023. This private motorhome park is still under construction but is already able to accommodate guests. It offers a stunning view of the Mondego river and is located 300 meters away from a supervised beach during the summer. The park features handmade barbecue grills and washing facilities, all surrounded by nature. There is also a Roman route nearby. There are three restaurants within close proximity, ranging from 200 to 400 meters away. More services will be available soon. Currently, only cold showers and electricity are provided. The staff speak Portuguese, English, and Nordic languages. If you arrive after 10 PM, please call the numbers displayed on the gate and ask for José Manuel Silva.
There is a nice park with a beautiful view. The park is located close to a river beach, within walking distance. If you don't feel like cooking, there is a restaurant called "Peixinho" just around the corner with great service and delicious food. Please note that the park is not yet fully completed, but it already has basic facilities and is ready to be used. We have already been there and enjoyed our experience.
This place is going to be beautiful. There is still a lot of work to be done, but it will be worth it. The owners are very kind and helpful. They provided us with a lot of tips for our onward journey. We were warmly welcomed. The river swimming pool is only a 5-minute walk away, with a small bar, toilets, and a sandy area for the kids to play. It's a very nice place. I also got to try the delicious food at the restaurant around the corner. Go there and relax.
