The campsite is considered expensive for what it offers. It has a great location for visiting Mount Etna, but the sanitary facilities are in poor condition. They are old, run-down, and filled with insects (as they lack proper doors), and the hot water supply is inadequate. There is also no option for disposing of grey or blackwater. Unfortunately, it seems to be the only available option, but sometimes it is better to find a spot for free camping.
