There is a campsite near Bad Harzburg offering different types of pitches. Standard pitches do not have a private bathroom, while comfort pitches do. Standard pitches do not have designated spots and the distance to the power connection may be more than 25m. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained but not modern. Showering comes at an additional cost. The campsite can be accessed easily without any barriers or gates. There are separate facilities for toilet disposal.
The place was overpriced and run-down. The outdoor pool and restaurant were not available. It cost €44.20 per night for two people, plus additional fees for tourist tax and energy. Lesson learned, we should have asked about the price beforehand. WiFi was €3 for 24 hours and showers cost €0.50 for 2 minutes. The noise from the nearby road was noticeable. We won't be returning.
