We parked before the path, on a gravel area by the road. It was a bit sloped but suitable for a night. There was very little traffic on the road, and we had a great view!

You can park at the beginning of a walking path on the moor. It’s quiet at night and offers beautiful views. There are no services nearby, but it is located near Balmoral and Lochnagar distilleries.

We could not stay in one spot due to lack of phone signal. Instead, we drove to a nearby layby on the moors where we had a good view and strong signal. It was quiet all night with very few cars passing by.
