The travelers Code of Conduct
Our guide to responsible and respectful travel. Essential tips for eco-friendly, culturally aware, and ethical adventures worldwide
Choosing the Spot
When it comes to picking a place to park, let's use our good judgment to help keep our beautiful nature spots and wonderful destinations intact.
Parking
When it comes to picking a place to park, let's use our good judgment to help keep our beautiful nature spots and wonderful destinations intact.
Parking with Care
We'll park our vehicles properly, taking just one spot. No forming groups of vehicles or staying too long in one spot, especially if it's a busy or limited area.
And let's say hello to our fellow travelers – it's a great way to spread good vibes.
Taking Care of Waste
We'll only drain our waste in designated areas, not in nature. There are lots of places available for this! And if there's a fee for using these facilities, we'll gladly pay it.
Supporting Locals
Let's support local businesses as much as we can. That means checking out local markets, trying goodies from local producers, and enjoying meals at nearby restaurants. It's a win-win for everyone.
Being Awesome
We won't set up full camps on public roads – it's probably not allowed. Let's keep our setup simple and leave a positive impression.
Caring for Nature
We're all about leaving no trace – and if we can't find a proper place to dispose of our waste, we'll take it with us. We'll even pick up litter we find around. No campfires or barbecues in nature without the green light, and let's keep the noise down – both during the day and at night.
Being a Good Guest
When we're on private property, let's introduce ourselves, show some love to the animals, and follow the local rhythm. And, of course, we'll ask before setting up outside stuff (even the barbecue) and bringing our pets along.
