Lovely spot with a nice bench and friendly rangers arriving at 6:30. Sleeping here is allowed. The road is rough, but even Fiat Pandas can handle similar paths in Italy, so don't worry.

There is a spacious parking area with shade available. The Cavagrande del Cassabile lakes are a great option on hot days, and they are clearly marked after a 45-minute walk. We visited with a VW T3 1.6TD, but the last kilometer was difficult. It is a peaceful place with a clear sky and distant cowbells. Remember to bring drinking water if you visit the lakes.
