There is a convenient map available throughout the year in the outer harbor of Emden. It is a paved parking area with no amenities like electricity or water, but it offers a pleasant and tranquil atmosphere with a lovely view of the harbor. Located approximately 4 km away from the city center.
There is a free and small parking area by the water. On the left, there is a boat and ship lock, and on the right, big steamships sometimes dock. It is a great place to observe these ships and the surrounding activities. However, there are no toilets, showers, or trash bins available. It is ideal for staying overnight.
We liked the place, it's relatively quiet. Enjoy watching the sunrise, having breakfast, and observing the passing ships.
