Quiet location about 1.5 km from the Danube road. There are 6 dogs that bark frequently at night, but they are harmless. Overall, it is a peaceful place to spend the night.

This is a spacious gravel parking lot located near a stunning Monastery overlooking the scenic Danube Gorge. There is some shade available and the area is peaceful, with the soothing sound of the river nearby. While there may be some litter left by locals, it is generally clean for a free parking spot. The top end of the parking lot is mostly flat, although the road leading up to it may be slightly uneven. However, it is accessible for any type of vehicle.

We spent one night there, and it was great. The weather was warm, so we enjoyed the nearby river for cooling off (there is a path up from the parking area). The stray dogs in the area are friendly and not noisy. The restrooms on the other side of the river, near the monastery, appear to be newly built. Easy access for vehicles up to 7.2 meters. Just be careful not to switch to Serbian phone service accidentally.
