Ideal for a stopover. A peaceful spot by the Elbe river. However, the harbor master seemed poorly organized. Had trouble finding the keys and there was no information about the area. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The Buckau-Fermersleben water sports club offers a picturesque camping spot on the banks of the Elbe River. With 10 sites offering electricity from April to October, you can enjoy a comfortable stay. The campsite is conveniently located near a supermarket and tram stop, just 800 meters away. Additionally, there is a Gasthaus (guesthouse) located in the club's boathouse. For those seeking a refreshing swim, you can easily access the Salbker See directly from the campsite.

We enjoyed our visit and plan to come again. To make a reservation, please contact the harbor master, who is often located near the bungalows. Showers are available for an additional cost of 1€. The price includes access to fresh water, electricity, and waste disposal for portable toilets. The flat rate fee is 12€. Currently, there is no gray water disposal service, but it is being considered for the future.
