There is a free parking lot located between a cricket pitch and a pub. We inquired with the pub and they informed us that it is free to use as long as we inform them beforehand. This parking area is situated in a charming town on the outskirts of the Yorkshire Dales, providing a peaceful location away from the main road.
This place is a fantastic option for a one-night stopover. They have an honesty box on the wall where you can pay what you think is fair. The pub serves delicious food and provides a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our three dogs. Additionally, there is ample space available for up to six motorhomes.
Our experience at the accommodation was positive. The staff was friendly and the parking was convenient. We stayed for two nights and even left some money in the honesty box to support the local community. The Ingleton waterfall trail, located nearby, is definitely worth checking out and is easily accessible by foot.
