Le Martenau

The access road to this location is long but not challenging. The stunning view is worth the effort. There is a parking area available on the hiking trail parking lot, although it is slightly inclined. It is very quiet at night, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding hiking trails. Please note that due to construction work, the access road can only be used during midday and after 4 PM in the evenings (as of September 2022).

A great adventure! Getting to the spot/parking requires a lot of climbing and swinging, but it is definitely worth it. The 360-degree view is fantastic. We experienced snow at night, so winter tires (and a 4x4) are necessary for the steep descent.
