Plenty of traffic, but the parking lot is spacious. It can be helpful for an overnight stay if you're finishing your visit to Marvao late. There's a spring a bit downhill to refill.

There is a spacious parking area along the road leading to Marvão. It offers shade and is a peaceful spot at night. However, please note that overnight parking is not allowed here due to it being part of the natural park (Parque Natural da Serra de São Mamede), where overnight stays are only permitted in designated areas.
