Ramshaw Rocks Lay By is a convenient spot along the road that has a flat surface and gradually slopes downwards as the road continues. It is a picturesque location with beautiful rock formations to admire. However, we noticed a considerable amount of litter during our visit. It would be greatly appreciated if visitors could help keep this area tidy.
Tonight, we are staying at a location with three other vans and a large mobile home. Luckily, we were able to secure one of the more even spots. It is generally peaceful and there is no traffic at night. The area offers splendid views and is great for taking a leisurely walk. The only drawback was that a couple of vans ran their engines at night, likely for heating purposes. It would be wise to pack thermals and a blanket for future trips.
