There is a peaceful spot located under a cluster of trees where we decided to spend the night. It was a serene and pleasant experience, particularly given that we were there in the month of September.
Large and easily accessible location. Met a friendly French couple who assured us that it is a suitable spot for staying overnight, as they regularly do so every weekend. However, it is located near a busy main road, which remains noisy until late at night. It is acceptable for a brief stopover, but be prepared for the constant traffic noise.
Nice place, but avoid Sundays as it can get very noisy with the nearby circuit. However, we had a beautiful walk to the memorial where the noise was much quieter. Remember to wear proper walking shoes.
