There is a large grass parking area available to visit the fort, although it is currently undergoing renovation and is unstaffed. The location offers a serene and secluded experience, with nature and the stars as your only companions. It is ideal for those seeking solitude and enjoyable walks away from civilization.
We slept here alone, in a secluded and quiet location. The view is beautiful, and there is complete peace. There is a large flat lawn, and although the road to get here is gravel, it is easily passable (take the smaller road that branches off to the south, not the one to the north). The fort can only be visited with prior reservation. There are benches, tables, and a barbecue area.
Forte Leone is a beautiful and magical place to connect with nature. It is kept clean and is truly worth spending a peaceful night there.
