We decided to first take a close look on foot at the mentioned parking space and then decided against it. The access road was steep and the overall appearance was quite neglected. We spent the night on the large parking lot near the church instead. It was great because there were trash bins, several picnic benches, a good hiking map, water, and unfortunately closed toilets that belong to the church.
