This is a small parking area located next to the canal, with enough space for a few vans. There are pleasant walks along the canal from this spot, just across the bridge, and it is also not too far from Nantwich. Despite occasional boats and fishermen, the area is generally very quiet.
This parking area can accommodate up to 10 cars, 5 campers, and a couple of overlander trucks. It also has a picnic area and trash bins available. Please note that when leaving, it is important to turn left as the canal bridge ahead has a weight limit of 10 tonnes and a high hump back.
Enjoyed a peaceful and pleasant overnight stay on April 3, 2023. The location offers a great opportunity for a leisurely walk to the town center, which is approximately 3 miles away.
