Plenty of open space with pristine water. A Dixi toilet is provided. The owner requests a fee of 25 eu for a camper and 2 adults. It should be noted that there is limited shade as there are no tall trees on the premises.
The campsite was closed, so we were directed to an alternative site owned by the same owner. It was a mowed meadow with a wooden pit toilet, but no water, sewage, showers, sanitary toilet, electricity, or Wi-Fi. They charged us 20€ for this, which felt like a rip-off. We only stayed because we were too tired. They didn't even give us a receipt.
This is a beautiful spacious spot next to a lake with crystal clear water. There is only one portable toilet available. The owner is very friendly and helpful, offering good recommendations for the surrounding area. We highly recommend visiting the Rocket Base (Cold War Museum) and taking a kayak tour through the nature reserve on the Minija River.
