This tranquil location offers breathtaking views of the Alps. Please note that access is via a gravel road and there are limited motorhome spaces available.
Despite the sign prohibiting access, it is possible to drive up to the restaurant. The road is partly gravel and partly paved, but it is easily passable. We had no issues driving up with a 7-meter campervan. Parking is available on the right side below the restaurant. It is free, but you will be asked to purchase something. The location is stunning, peaceful, and offers an incredible view.
Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Orbe plain and Lake Neuchâtel, with the option to also see the Neuchâtel and French valleys by climbing to the summit in just 10 minutes from the parking area. Please note that the road leading up is partially paved and not recommended for larger vehicles such as vans or 4x4s. Park on the right immediately after the last bovi-stop, avoiding the steep final ascent under the restaurant.
