I stayed at Camping River Transalpina for one night initially, but enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay for an additional two nights. The campsite is conveniently located at the base of the Transalpine, with easy access from the road. To get there, you simply cross a bridge capable of holding vehicles weighing up to 4 tons. Hidden behind the trees, you'll find a lovely campsite in the garden of a charming wooden holiday house, which also offers rooms for rent. The facilities include electricity, hot water for showers, a beach area with umbrellas and sunbeds, several relaxation spots, and a playground for children. Additionally, they serve cold beer, espresso coffee, breakfast, and dinner. If you prefer homemade food, the owner, Alex's mother, can prepare meals for you. You may also book one of the two available glamping tents, and they are currently constructing a treehouse.
