There is a boat launch ramp available, as well as a designated area for motorhomes, offering a pleasant view. However, it is best to avoid visiting during holidays, weekends, or sunny days, as the narrow road tends to become congested with cars and trailers. Furthermore, it can be challenging or even impossible to turn around at the end of the road.
Enjoy a peaceful stay by the Eems River. While there is some traffic noise, we had no issues with it in the rooftop tent last night. You can choose to sit in the sun or shade. Currently, it's a weekday during school holidays, so we are the only ones here. Please note that there are no amenities available.
Parking may be restricted during the summer due to limited access, resulting in a one-star rating. However, during winter or inclement weather, it receives a higher rating of four to five stars due to less crowded conditions. Before proceeding, it is advised to cycle or walk down the access road to confirm availability of parking and the ability to turn around if necessary. A one-hour parking limit applies.
