This campground has a tidy and well-maintained appearance. We found the levelling ramps to be convenient for our needs. The toilets and showers were impeccably clean. The pitches were nicely spaced apart, providing ample room. We enjoyed taking a pleasant walk and a refreshing swim in the nearby river. Right at the entrance to the site, there is a tea room available. It is also possible to walk to a charming village with thatched roofs from the campground, which is quite convenient. Additionally, there are two pubs within walking distance, namely the Three Horseshoes, just a two-minute walk away, and the Three Jolly Butchers, which can be reached in five minutes. Both establishments serve food and are dog-friendly.

The website of this place is great, and the staff is really friendly. I paid £19 per night for parking my motorhome and for one person. The sanitary facilities were nice and clean. Some of the spots where you can park are not very level, but overall it's a good place to visit. I would recommend it and I would go back if I'm in that area again. The place is owned and managed by the National Trust.

We were passing through here and managed to get a spot even though the reception was already closed. The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. The sanitary facilities were among the best we experienced on our 3-week tour of Great Britain. The surroundings with the village, the old water mill, and the canal are very appealing.
