There is a lovely picnic spot surrounded by nature about 100 meters before the East top of a well-maintained Roman bridge known as "Vila Formosa." There are five tables and benches available, making it a good place for a rest or a meal. It is important to note that access is only possible from the East as the bridge is closed to cars. The nearby road, N369, can be heard but there are no services provided at this location.
Visiting the Roman Bridge is highly recommended. It would be a good idea to bring a picnic to enjoy by the water, and remember to take your rubbish with you when you leave. Unfortunately, the parking area is quite littered, which is quite sad to see, so it's not a great place to spend time.
This location can be easily reached via a paved road. The trees in the area are still young, providing limited shade. Although I only visited for lunch, it is a pleasant spot overall. The Roman bridge is particularly impressive.
