This campsite is perfect during September with a stunning view of the Douro river. It has a spacious swimming pool and a snack bar. It's suitable for families with kid-friendly areas. However, there are no nearby shops, and it's located 25km away from Porto. The campsite offers plenty of shade and clean sanitary facilities.
We will never go back here. It is the most expensive campsite we've been to (€21.30 for 2 people with a van and no electricity). The campground does not meet our expectations. The sanitary facilities are old and the toilets are dirty and lack toilet seats. We experienced a lot of noise at night from the neighboring campers who were constantly shouting. There was also a party happening and fireworks were set off early in the morning. We're glad we only stayed here for one night.
This is an old but peaceful camping site located by the Douro. Despite being small, the bathrooms were clean and the pitch was enough for our 7.5 meter long camper van. It's a perfect spot to stop for a night and enjoy the pool.
