This motorhome site offers plenty of room with large pitches. Payment can be made by placing money in a mailbox. Each motorhome has its own separate power connection. Regular checks are conducted to ensure non-occupied pitches are monitored. Shower and toilet facilities are available at the nearby swimming pool for an additional fee. It is unfortunate that there is no plumbing or water available, especially considering the fees. The area can be busy during the day but quiet at night. The Rhine promenade is only a 5-minute walk away.
When we arrived on a Thursday, we were the second camper van on the left side of the restaurant. By Friday evening, all six relatively narrow spaces were filled. There was a seventh vehicle parked sideways behind them. The much larger space on the right side of the restaurant was closed off. It was possible to have an electrical connection. Therefore, even in December, this parking spot is highly sought after, especially on weekends.
Lovely small spot with great views right by the Rhine river. The 10€ fee is for the prime location, and electricity is available for an additional 3€. The camping spots are a bit narrow, but it wasn't an issue for us with a small camper. We enjoyed our night here.
