Borghetto is a great place to stay for a night or a few. There are several restaurants nearby, between 100 to 500 meters away. You can also reach the resort/village of Valeggio sul Mincio by walking through a park, though it involves a steep path. The ticket you receive when entering includes payment for electricity and access to well-maintained sanitary facilities. It is worth considering returning, although note that some restaurants may be closed in January.
There are many parking spaces available. The friendly caretaker is always ready to help. If your vehicle is under 2.30 meters in height and you want to enter as a camper, the passenger should raise their hand to activate the sensor in front of the barrier while driving towards it. The caretaker will demonstrate this. It can get quite busy on weekends.
Great location. Everything is new and clean here. For just 0.50€, you can enjoy facilities like waste disposal, showers, and hot water. There is even a changing machine at the washbasins. The city and dinner options are just a 10-minute walk away. Highly recommended. If anyone complains, they should just keep driving.
