There is a lovely open clearing located just 10 minutes from Shumen, situated between a field and a small wood. It is a peaceful and picturesque spot that we enjoyed during our lunch break. The access road is in good condition, although there are some signs of vehicle passage leading to the woods. It is uncertain if there is a passage in the evening since we did not stay overnight.
The area is a field near a busy road and industrial zone, not peaceful or picturesque. It might suit people in a hurry or those unfamiliar with maps. There are quieter parking spots nearby, which are listed on p4n. We decided to leave quickly.
