The public swimming pool in Bahia has a designated car park with special parking spaces for campers. It is situated in a mostly flat area with trees around it. There is a facility for water supply and waste disposal, but you need to purchase a token from the pool reception to use it. I cannot verify the functionality of this feature, so I cannot recommend it. The area is quiet at night but can get a bit busy in the evening as cars come and go. The swimming pool also offers showers and a sauna, with the entrance located nearby. I haven't checked the prices for entry.
The city of Bocholt deserves praise for restructuring the parking area at Bahia-Bad. They have now provided 8 spacious and well-defined parking spaces for motorhomes. This will put an end to the inconvenient mixed parking situation that was unappealing in the past, especially during weekends.
Lovely spot for an overnight stay. It was very peaceful and perfect for those passing through.
