There is a place called the "Pirate camp" located near a restaurant called The Pirate. It is actually a garden belonging to a private apartment complex. Compared to other places nearby, this camp offers shade from mature trees and provides almost everything that a camper would need. The owner does not speak English, so we communicated with the help of English-speaking staff from the restaurant.
Quiet location with tall grass. Unfortunately, the key to the bathroom is missing, so we have been allowed to use a nearby apartment's bathroom. The shower is cold and there are some mosquitoes. However, there is a sandy beach within walking or biking distance. The people here are very friendly and they also own a fantastic restaurant next door.
