This is a beautiful location for picnics, overnight stays, and outdoor activities like hiking or via ferrata. It's important to be cautious as the path is long, and there are some challenging sections. It's best to avoid it after heavy rain and with large vehicles. The area offers a serene environment with a river, waterfall, picnic tables, and shelters. Keep in mind that fires are only allowed in designated areas. To reach this spot, follow the signs for "Fuente del señor" or the via ferrata "La mulatica" for a little over 3 kilometers.
It is not recommended to drive on difficult terrain with a regular car, van, or even a motorhome. The roads in that area are in very poor condition and can be extremely challenging to navigate. The roughness of the roads made my recent trip there the most unpleasant driving experience I've ever had. In fact, the last part of the route was impassable, so I was unable to reach my destination. It is advisable to avoid traveling to this location.
We approached with caution based on what we had read. However, for our Trafic-type van, it was not a problem. It can be done slowly, but for anyone with some experience driving on tracks, it won't seem difficult. The place is beautiful and secluded. The facilities are in good condition, although some parking spots are not leveled. It is a great place to take care of.
