This campsite is located on the peaceful lake shore and offers beautiful views. It is suitable for small campervans and panel vans with specific size restrictions. Awnings can be set up with prior arrangement. Please note that parking space is not available. We recommend arriving by public transport. Unfortunately, caravans, mobile homes, and roof tents cannot be accommodated.
Small and pleasant campsite with friendly staff who can speak French. The sanitary facilities are clean. There is a small beach directly on Lake Constance, and the Mainau Island is only a 5-minute bike ride away on a dedicated cycle path. The campsite also has a small bar serving drinks, cakes, and ice cream, as well as a bakery service for the mornings and barbecue facilities.
Upon our arrival around 5:00 pm, the receptionist at the site was completely intoxicated. Therefore, he was unable to provide us with any instructions or complete the registration process. During the summer months, it can be quite noisy at night due to the adjacent campground for young people who enjoy loud singing around the campfire until approximately 4 am. The sanitary facilities are quite outdated. The only great thing about this place is its direct location by the lake and the wonderful view. It is suitable for a one-night stay.
