This is a large Neolithic polishing stone known as the Cochée Stone. It is a massive polished sandstone monolith from the Eocene age, buried in the ground among other exposed boulders and conglomerates. The stone and other boulders are sheltered by large oaks, giving this area a mysterious and druidic atmosphere. The site covers an area of approximately 100 meters in length and 80 meters in width.
