There is a great spot for overnight parking on the uphill climb from Eskdale Green to Ulpha, near Red Gill. It's a grassy lay-by on the right side with a flat surface and stunning views. As the day progresses, the number of cars passing by decreases. It's an ideal place to stay overnight, and there is also phone reception available.
